Tyler O’Meara is the Maintenance and Facilities Compliance Coordinator at Puppies Downunder, responsible for maintaining the property, infrastructure and housing facilities to ensure they meet required standards under the Code of Practice for the Operation of Breeding and Rearing Businesses.

Tyler oversees the upkeep, repair and functionality of buildings, kennels, fencing, yards and equipment, ensuring all areas are safe, secure, hygienic and fit for purpose. His role supports the ongoing welfare of animals by maintaining environments that are structurally sound, well drained, weather appropriate and easy to clean and maintain.

He works closely with management to identify maintenance needs, address issues promptly and ensure infrastructure supports daily operations, animal comfort and compliance obligations. Tyler also assists with preventative maintenance and improvement works to minimise risk, maintain efficiency and uphold the long term integrity of the facility.

​Through regular inspections and hands on maintenance, Tyler plays a key role in ensuring Puppies Downunder operates within regulatory requirements while providing safe, functional and well maintained environments for animals and staff.
